Setting up a new club on Dugout takes a few minutes, and your trial starts the moment you create it rather than once you've finished every step.
1. Sign up. Enter your first name, last name and email. We'll send a one-time code to that address. Type it in and you're logged in, with no password to remember.
2. Create your club. Give it a name and choose a web address. We'll suggest one from the name, and you can edit it. If it's already taken, we'll offer a couple of alternatives. Adding a crest and a colour is optional: leave them blank and we'll use a generated badge from your club's initials and a neutral theme instead. You can also add a home ground address here, which your teams will use by default. Finally, tell us your own role at the club, such as player, player-manager or secretary. This just helps us set things up right for you.
3. Create your first team. Give it a name, such as 1st XI, 2nd XI or Vets, and add more teams straight away if you need to. There's no limit to how many you add up to your plan's team limit.
4. Add your first players. Either type them in one at a time, or upload a CSV if you've already got a squad list. You'll get a preview to check everything's mapped correctly before it's saved.
5. Invite others, if you're ready. You can skip this step and come back to it later from your club's admin area.
That's it. You'll land on your club's overview with a full 14-day trial running, no payment details required. If you get interrupted partway through setup, coming back to Dugout will pick up exactly where you left off.
